FAM CFI 400

Boring and dowel inserting machine CFI 400: strong, reliable and flexible, characterized by high boring precision and productivity, thanks to easy tooling.

Front magazine

This device allows automatic machine feeding. The stack is supported by pushers which sequentially release sequentially one panel a time onto the feeding table of the machine avoiding scratches or score to the panel under process and the stacked ones. When machining big-dimensioned workpieces, the magazine can be excluded and the machine can be fed manually.

Trailing block

Positioned on conveying belt, it allows the exact path of the work-piece in the different workstations even in case of especially narrow and long workpieces.

Boring units

All of the front and back vertical units (both lower and upper) are completely independent from each other with disengaged displacement on each axis, allowing the most varied boring options even with different 32 mm multiple pitches.

Dowel inserting units

Characterized by a new running method, in which the dowel is accompanied on the whole path thus eliminating any jamming possibility.

Two work stations

The first station is composed of: horizontal 13-spindles boring units; vertical/upper and vertical/lower 11-spindles boring units with pneumatic locking, preset for heads for 5th side boring.

The second station is composed of: horizontal dowel inserting units; vertical/upper and vertical/lower 11-spindles boring units with pneumatic locking, preset for heads for 5th side boring. The two boring stations in a unique machine allow high productivity for execution of complex boring diagrams.
